Dallas Fed's President Robert Kaplan is hitting the wires, via Reuters, stating that the central bank should be taking steps to raise rates patiently and gradually. Also, he doesn't want to raise rates so aggressively to jolt the economy into a slowdown. "A dual mandate for Fed is appropriate, but reasonable people can debate that", Kaplan said.
