Oil prices little changed in Asia
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Oil prices at both the sides of the Atlantic were little changed in Asia after a rise in the inventories of refined products in the US pushed prices lower on Wednesday.
Front month WTI Crude futures currently trade flat around USD 60.20/barrel, while Brent futures trade around USD 63.60/barrel.
Gasoline supplies cap gains
The US EIA data on Wednesday showed supplies fell by 4.9 million barrels in the week ended June 19. Prices initially rose on the EIA report, however, an unexpected rise of 700,000 barrels in gasoline supplied eventually pushed prices lower.
Prices traded flat in the Asian session as sentiment turned risk averse on account of Greek impasse. Still, a weekly draw in the US crude oil inventories has been able to restrict losses.
